Prevention and Early Intervention for Juvenile Delinquency

The Kennedy Krieger Institute will implement prevention and early intervention services to children ages birth-7, and their families, in the greater Baltimore area. The project goals are 1) expansion of direct services to children and families; 2) trainings for service providers; and 3) expand programs that focus on prevention and early intervention services for at-risk children. Primary activities include 1) the identification of and provision of services to youth in high-risk neighborhoods as well as the siblings of current service recipients, 2) the incorporation of technology in parent training; and 3) provision of training to area service providers.
