Alameda County Children's Assessment Center

The goal of the Alameda County Children's Assessment Center is to provide a safe transition for children removed from their homes due to allegations of abuse, neglect or for children who need an assessment before the out-of-home placement is change. Alameda County's objectives focus on improving system effectiveness in response to child maltreatment, system planning and coordination when children are removed from the home, and short and long term outcomes for children.
