On this "Today in Juvenile Justice: Administrator Update" held on September 27, 2023, OJJDP Administrator Liz Ryan highlighted 49th anniversary of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act, noting OJJDP's recent accomplishments in juvenile justice reform as well as plans for our 50th anniversary. Ryan also discussed Youth Justice Action Month.

Alaska Native Youth TTA Project

Rural Alaska Community Action Program, Inc. seeks to promote justice and reduce delinquency rates for Alaska Native youth through The Resource Basket Training and Technical Assistance Center.

Mutual Aid Program Service (MAPS)

Through a cooperative agreement with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, CJJA will provide a “Mutual Aid” Program Service (MAPS) available to all CJJA member jurisdictions through a crisis response TTA request for assistance. CJJA will provide crisis and major incident response assistance using CJJA resources, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Associate Members (as needed) to jurisdictions requesting assistance.
