Opioid Affected Youth Initiative Technical Assistance

The goal of the Opioid Affected Youth Initiative training and technical assistance (TTA) is to build the capacity and effectiveness of sites funded under this initiative and communities across the nation to develop and implement programs and strategies that identify, respond to, treat, and support children, youth, and families impacted by the opioid epidemic to ensure public safety.

Services

Services for OJJDP-funded sites under this initiative include no-cost training and technical assistance support to assist sites in identifying, designing, implementing, and sustaining evidence-based and promising programs and services that are matched to the needs of their community. Focus areas include the development of multidisciplinary collaborative teams, data-driven strategic planning, strengthening site implementation efforts, improving practices for outcome reporting, and guidance for sustainability planning.

Technical assistance services are provided for funded OJJDP Opioid Affected Youth Initiative project sites. Products are available to the public.
