OJJDP will host "Combating Digital Hate, Part II: The Dark Web" as part of OJJDP’s Preventing Youth Hate Crimes & Identity-Based Bullying Initiative webinar series.

During the webinar, intended for law enforcement professionals, presenters will:

  • Explain Tor, darknets, and dark markets to individuals who conduct criminal investigations involving hate and identity-based bias crimes.
  • Explore case studies and discuss specific investigative techniques involving hate and identity-based crimes.
  • Provide investigators, analysts, and other criminal justice professionals the foundation needed to understand these tools and communities—both how they are exploited by criminals and how investigators and analysts use them.
