OJJDP will host "Enhancing Skills To Increase an Investigator's or Prosecutor's Technical Background When Working Cases Focusing on Criminal Extremist Hate Groups" as part of OJJDP’s Preventing Youth Hate Crimes & Identity-Based Bullying Initiative webinar series.

During the webinar, intended for law enforcement and prosecutor professionals, presenters will help attendees:

  • Know how to identify threats in a lawful manner and collect digital evidence.
  • Develop and utilize a consistent and common understanding of what rises to reasonable suspicion of criminal hate crime activity and know how to classify evidence similarly and consistently. 
  • Understand how to classify and collect openly sourced evidence and make sure that it complies with criminal intelligence guidelines.
