Enhancing Van Buren County's Family Reunification Court Program

Van Buren County (VBC) Courts will enhance the Family Reunification Court (FRC) with funding from the OJJDP FY 2021 Family Drug Court Program. Van Buren County (service area) is a rural community located in the southwest corner of Michigan's lower peninsula.  The project’s goals are to reduce the pervasive and harmful health impact of trauma in families; increase the capacity of the FRC to more effectively to address the needs of the parents/ guardians, children, and family unit.
