CITC Opioid Affected Youth

Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc., (CITC) will use funding to develop coordinated prevention and intervention strategies for youth and their families who have been impacted by opioids and other substances. The CITC opioid project will decrease opioid use prevalence and promote the evidence-based Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) approach, with Alaska Native and American Indian (AN/AI) cultural practices, to benefit youth who are affected by opioid use and opioid-related SUDs.
