Rensselaer County Family Treatment Court

Rensselaer County Family Court is seeking to establishing a New Family Treatment Court (FTC)  to provide specialized services to substance affected
parents and families entering Family Court under neglect proceedings. By utilizing a multidisciplinary team, Rensselaer County FTC aims to provide an expedited connection to substance use services, enhanced screening and assessment tools, and connections to additional services, as necessary. Grant funding will be utilized to create a FTC model to include a multidisciplinary team, offers participants an enhanced parenting program, recovery family support navigator and enhanced services for judicial supervision.  The FTC aims to enhance long term recovery and increase outcomes for families impacted by substance use.
