Establishing Family Treat Court Program

The Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Court seeks to create a Family Treatment Court (FTC) Program.  Grant funding will be utilized to create an FTC model that utilizes the services of a multidisciplinary team, offers participants an enhanced parenting time program with a parent education component, a certified recovery peer advocate, and addiction and recovery family support navigator. With enhanced services and judicial supervision as well as an independent evaluator, the FTC aims to enhance long term recovery and increase outcomes for families impacted by substance use. Success is keeping children safe and families together.  This means treating substance use disorder effectively, with improvement noted through assessments and evaluations.
