Establishing New Family Treatment Courts in West Virginia

The Judiciary Courts of the State of West Virginia with the support of the state child welfare agency, treatment providers, and government officials from all three branches of government, is prepared to establish new family treatment courts (FTCs) and support opportunities for family reunification. The new FTCs will provide parental substance use disorder treatment services and family preservation services in Putnam and Raleigh Counties, while following Family Treatment Court Best Practice Standards.
