Nevada’s Clark County Department of Juvenile Justice Services (DJJS) will partner with a
locally vetted vendor to create an Elevate Girls Program (EGP) for approximately 288 girls.
Referrals to the Elevate Girls Program will come from the DJJS Intake Unit, The Harbor (a
juvenile assessment center that houses several community providers under one roof), and
Juvenile Probation to develop well-rounded case plans consisting of criminogenic target needs
areas identified by individual risk levels. EGP girls with low level offenses, based on the Intake
Pre-Screen Tool created in conjunction with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, will have the
opportunity to participate in the Girls Moving on Program, an intervention program designed
specifically for girls and young women ages 12–21 who are involved with the juvenile justice
system. The service areas include the City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas, City of
Henderson, and Boulder City.
