Lancaster County is seeking to develop a Family Resource Center. The Family Resource Center is designed to serve families who have youth under the age of 19 living in the home who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The facility, serving as a single point, of contact integrates prevention and early intervention services and supports through a centralized, coordinated point of contact for youth who are struggling at home, in the community, or at school and are at-rise of systems involvement to receive: Crisis behavioral health screening, stabilization and supports; Integrated case management through utilization of peer support and family navigators; Referral to existing support services within the community; Access to basic needs and concrete supports at a time of crisis; and Limited crisis respite beds as needed.
