Chittenden County Mentoring Project

The Chittenden County Mentoring Project (CCMP) has proposed, under this grant, to support and enhance the recruitment effort of participating adult-child mentoring programs in Chittenden County. CCMP will also build these programs' capacity to increase the number of high quality adult-child mentoring relationships. CCMP strategies for accomplishing this goal include developing and implementing a marketing plan that will create an elevated public awareness of the benefits of mentoring. CCMP will also develop and implement a comprehensive volunteer recruitment strategy, provide training to the participating mentoring programs, promote elements of best practice mentor programming, and evaluate program effectiveness through achieving their outcome-based, measurable objectives.
