Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2003, $180,000)
Bethesda Family Services Foundation (Bethesda) was formed to heal the hearts and change the lives of troubled individuals and distressed families. To achieve its mission, Bethesda attempts to replicate its methods by establishing affiliates and disseminating its treatment methods to other program providers. The purpose of this application is to provide agencies in Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Florida and Washington a full three-year contract with Bethesda, which will provide training, consultation, and technical assistance leading to certification in the Bethesda Two-System Approach (Relational Healing and Peer Governance [PG]). The grant funds would offset the costs associated with the training, based on each agency's individual needs and program size.
