The University of Connecticut Department of Psychiatry will conduct a randomized trial of two promising interventions for complex PTSD, to test their efficacy for the prevention of intergenerational involvement in criminal activities by enhancing the functioning and parenting of high-risk or previously incarcerated mothers of young (ages 0-5 years old) children.
