JA Worldwide (JA) will address the economic, financial literacy, and workplace readiness education needs of middle grades and high school students in America through the programs, JA Job Shadow and JA Finance Park. JA Job Shadow, delivered in collaboration with middle schools, high schools, and workplace volunteers, is an academically motivating program with pre- and post 'shadow day' curriculum used in conjunction with a one day job shadow experience. JA Finance Park is a reality based, hands-on simulation for middle grades students that involves an extensive in-class curriculum and a one-day on site visit to Finance Park, where students study different financial decisions to be made, consider the options available, and construct a personal budget. JA Worldwide will conduct independent formative and summative evaluation and report results in GMS categorical progress reports to assess the efficacy of JA Job Shadow and JA Finance Park on participating students.
