Girl Scouts of the USA will undertake expansion efforts around four of their signature programs in an effort to: (1) lessen the impact of incarceration on girls; (2) provide female juvenile detention residents with relevant Girl Scout Programs; (3) provide grils with relevant skill and strategies that will reduce their involvement with criminal activity; and (4) enhance their capacity to recruit, train and sustain a strong base of Hispanic volunteers.
