A Better Way, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, faith and community-based prevention, intervention, and treatment organization designed to promote healthy living creating positive alternatives for children and families while reducing the likelihood of 'at-risk' behavior. The ultimate goal is to reduce/prevent juvenile delinquency and gang-related activity/crime and develop and implement anti-gang interventions for children and families from a variety of multi-disciplinary methods. Project 'GO' (Gang Out) is a major initiative of A Better Way. Project 'GO' identifies existing and potential gang members and their families interested in leaving a gang life. Project GO teaches and educates former gang members and their families how to explore positive alternatives that do not include gang life. The program is a community based program broken into 4 phases: Identification, Implementation, Evaluation, and Re-entry. NCA/NCF
