The following goals for the project have been identified: Goal 1) to develop and implement an indigenous justice strategy that will positively impact the lives of juveniles and their families on the White Earth Reservation; Goal 2) to gain a better comprehension of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and its impact on tribal members who are juveniles by adopting culturally appropriate and evidence based intake assessment practices and train and educate community stakeholders to better evaluate and manage their juvenile justice system; Goal 3) to provide effective screening, diagnoses, case management and advocacy for FASD; and Goal 4) to enhance reentry programs and juvenile probation services, which will include tribal youth courts, girl-focused programming, etc. CA/NCF
