The goal of the Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Program is to support and enhance State efforts, in cooperation with local jurisdictions, to enforce laws prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages, or the consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors. For the purpose of the program, minors are defined as individuals under 21 years of age.

Wyoming intends to support underage drinking enforcement through the following Statewide efforts: providing increased funding to targeted communities to support enforcement and innovative programs utilizing OJJDP best practices to combat underage drinking; increasing the knowledge and professional ability of local law enforcement on best practice strategies and practices through training; collecting uniform data from all grantees related to enforcement of UAD laws; and evaluating outcomes from the targeted FY2008 Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws funded programs.
