The OJJDP FY 10 Earmarks Program furthers the Department's mission by providing grants, cooperative agreements, and other assistance authorized by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, as amended, to organizations identified in the Conference Report to accompany the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2010 (P.L. 111-117), H.R. Conf. Rep. No. 111-366 at 702-714.

Immersion Learning is a dynamic academic enrichment program that engages youth in science, technology, engineering and math. In partnership with youth-serving organizations, schools and faith-based organizations, the program introduces youth to the exciting world of research and exploration. Immersion is national in scope and serves communities in over 40 states. The earmark funding is to expand the quality, scope and impact of the program in Boys and Girls clubs and to both expand availability and further refine the effectiveness of the program. NCA/NCF
