OJJDP FY 12 Children's Advocacy Centers Membership and Accreditation Program

This award will support the operations of the National Children's Alliance (NCA) as the national membership organization and accrediting body of Children's Advocacy Centers. The National Children's Alliance will establish and maintain standards for accreditation among its membership, including local Children's Advocacy Centers, State Chapters of CACs, and multidisciplinary teams providing a coordinated response to child abuse. The National Children's Alliance will conduct accreditation review of its member programs. This program is authorized by the Victims of Child Abuse Act, 42 USC 13001 and 13002. In administering this award, the National Children's Alliance will coordinate its efforts with all other VOCA-funded programs. CA/NCF
