Attend OJJDP’s Webinar Series on Secondary Trauma and Traumatic Stress

OJJDP, in partnership with The Innocent Justice Foundation and Supporting Heroes in Mental Health Foundational Training (SHIFT) Wellness, is hosting a 6-part webinar series to address secondary trauma and traumatic stress experienced by law enforcement, prosecutors, and other investigative personnel. These webinars will help attendees identify, reduce, and address the traumatic impact of their work in combating child sexual exploitation.  

Join OJJDP on February 2 at 2 p.m. ET for "Secondary Trauma and Traumatic Stress." This webinar focuses on secondary trauma and traumatic stress, the effect it has on law enforcement professionals, and the different factors that can compound the response to trauma. 

Join OJJDP on February 16 at 2 p.m. ET for "Physical Signs and Symptoms and How To Mitigate." This webinar focuses on the physical signs and symptoms of stress. Presenters will share tools and coping strategies to help professionals combat the effects of traumatic stress. 

Upcoming webinars will address cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and other signs and symptoms of stress.
