On May 22 at 9 a.m. ET, OJJDP will host and livestream an event commemorating the 41st Annual National Missing Children's Day.
The Office of Justice Programs Assistant Attorney General Amy L. Solomon and OJJDP Administrator Liz Ryan will participate in the event, which will include a panel discussion on children missing from care, exploring why children go missing and how we can improve collaboration to ensure their safety and well-being.
Administrator Ryan will present commendations to two law enforcement officers for their exceptional investigation of child sexual exploitation cases leading to multiple arrests and convictions. Additionally, a fifth-grade student will be recognized as the National Missing Children's Day poster contest winner.
