OJJDP Releases Community-Based Alternatives to Youth Incarceration Initiative Solicitation

OJJDP is accepting applications for its FY 2022 Community-Based Alternatives to Youth Incarceration Initiative solicitation. This initiative will support states as they close youth correctional facilities, assess and respond to the impact of these closures on facility staff and surrounding communities, and reinvest resources to support community-based services for justice-involved youth and their families. 

Grants.gov deadline: July 25, 2022.   
JustGrants deadline: August 8, 2022. 


Register for a solicitation-related webinar, to be held July 21, 2022. The webinar will provide a general overview of the initiative, describe the application process, and include time for attendee questions.
