Vicarious trauma treatment (VTT)

This webinar, held on April 26, 2023, was the first in a series being conducted by the Innocent Justice Foundation, an OJJDP-funded provider of SHIFT (Supporting Heroes in Mental Health Foundational Training).

This presentation held on October 19, 2022 discussed vicarious trauma and the effects of moral injury, and identified tools and techniques to mitigate the negative effects on individuals in the workplace and personal lives.

This is the third webinar in a 6-part series addressing secondary trauma and traumatic stress to help law enforcement, prosecutors, and other investigative personnel identify, reduce, and address the traumatic impact of their work in combating child sexual exploitation that took place on March 4, 2022.
