Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice To Hold Virtual Meeting

On November 18, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET, the Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice (FACJJ) will hold a virtual meeting. Composed of members of state advisory groups on juvenile justice, the FACJJ advises the President, Congress, and OJJDP Administrator on matters related to juvenile justice, and evaluates the progress and accomplishments of juvenile justice activities and projects.

Trauma-informed Prosecutor Project (TiPP)

This program enhances the effectiveness of the investigation and prosecution of child abuse by providing TTA to prosecutors and other child abuse multidisciplinary team members on trial advocacy, crime scene investigation, and advanced forensic interviewing.

Western Regional Children's Advocacy Center

The Western Regional Children’s Advocacy Center will provide training and technical assistance and web-based resources to develop and strengthen children’s advocacy centers and multidisciplinary teams in the 13 states of the region.

Center for Coordinated Assistance to States (CCAS)

The Center for Coordinated Assistance to States provides resources and training and technical assistance to support states, territories, Tribes, and local communities in developing juvenile justice services that fall within OJJDP's Title II Formula Grants Program.

Tribal Youth Resource Center

The Tribal Youth Program Resource Center provides training and technical assistance to OJJDP Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court and Tribal Youth Program grantees.

Southern Regional Children's Advocacy Center

The Southern Regional Children's Advocacy Center provides training and technical assistance to child abuse professionals in communities to support the growth and improvement of coordinated multidisciplinary responses to child abuse.
