This program will support the efforts of states, communities, jurisdictions, nonprofit organizations, for-profit organizations, and institutions of higher education to implement programs and strategies that identify, respond to, treat, and support children, youth, and families impacted by the opioid epidemic, and other substance use disorders, to ensure public safety.

OJJDP Observes National Drug Court Month

May is National Drug Court Month. OJJDP-funded drug courts help youth and families overcome the effects of substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. In 2019, OJJDP awarded more than $19 million to drug court programs nationwide.
